Our last field trip of the season will be Saturday August 29. We will be looking for crinoids, sea stars, sea urchins, and more invertebrates on the cliff above the Nehalem River.

"Wally the Whale Update"
Andy Quintanilla will be joining us in-person to present "Homeward Bound: Wally the Whale Returns to the Oregon Coast." It will be a wonderful chance to see what paleontologists are learning from the fossils NARG rescued.

Dave Ellingson, Woodburn High School science teacher and coordinator of the annual Woodburn digs, will present. Dave recently wrote "Bison, Bog Beans, and Beetles: Discovering the Late Ice Age of Woodburn, Oregon."
