December NARG Meeting
DATE: December 2 (Wednesday)
TIME:
LOCATION: Tualatin Heritage Center
ADDRESS: 8700 SW Sweek Dr
CITY: Tualatin
STATE: OR

Audrey Sauble, children’s author and educator, will present. Audrey has written and illustrated several children’s books, including her newest “Can a Rock Grow?” For more about Audrey, please check out her website.
Audrey will lead us through how to write meaningful field notes around out fossil finds. As we discover fossils in the field, we may take down quick notes about location and other facts. However, each find is part of a rich experience: who are we with, the feeling of finding this amazing relic of the past, the challenge of the trail, and so much more. Audrey will help us to put the whole experience down in a field journal entry. Please bring a fossil that is special to you and an open mind. Putting our memories to paper for posterity can be as important as the discovery!
Everyone is welcome to join us! Membership is NOT required! Before the talk, we will have show-and-tell by members and guests. Please bring fossils for identification and discussion.
For a link to the meeting via Zoom, send a Message a day or so before the meeting. We have had problems with Zoom-bombing, so we don’t post the invite publicly anymore. If you are a NARG member, check your email Inbox for an invite.
